Marisa Dolan Paraschak

In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies from Trinity College, Marisa Dolan Paraschak holds a Master’s degree in Survey Research and a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Program and Policy Evaluation from the University of Connecticut. She has worked as an independent research consultant, Director of Research at ByDesign Research, and in a variety of positions for multiple market research suppliers, as well as on the client side of the business with the market research department at Travelers Insurance. Paraschak has designed and executed countless quantitative and qualitative research studies, and her work has included projects with a wide range of clients in the advertising, financial, healthcare, education, government, and non-profit sectors. She loves helping businesses, universities, and other organizations develop resonant and effective brands, uncover opportunities, and identify and overcome potential problems. In addition to data analysis, Paraschak specializes in research and survey design and report writing and has a keen interest in up-and-coming qualitative research methods. She has previously developed educational materials for several online courses offered to market research professionals and taught in several classrooms. She is a member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR), recipient of the Master’s in Survey Research Academic Excellence Award, and is a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, Phi Beta Kappa, and Pi Gamma Mu Honor Societies.
