Development Program Coordinator, Office of Development and Alumni Affairs at the Yale School of Public Health
Lauren Hunt graduated from DPP in 2018 after completing the Fast-Track to the MPA Program. Currently Lauren works as Development Program Coordinator in the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs at the Yale School of Public Health. In her role Lauren drafts a wide variety of written materials including briefings for the Dean and proposals for high-level donors. Lauren is also a Teaching Assistant for the DPP and a member of the Alumni Council. She assists in planning alumni events, and other alumni engagement activities. Lauren uses the analytical and writing skills that she learned during her time in the Department of Public Policy every day. Lauren completed her Internship and Professional Practice Program at the UConn Office of Faculty and Staff Labor Relations where she worked as a student employee since the beginning of her junior year of undergraduate studies. Laurens advice for current students is to take advantage of the impressive faculty in the department – they can help you refine your interests and give you the advice and resources to succeed.
Lauren currently lives in East Rock, New Haven and enjoys exploring New Haven restaurants, hiking with her dog, and skiing.
