Janice Floyd is an Analyst at the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. Here she develops strategic plans to implement policy decisions and motor vehicle programs. She represents the Department at administrative hearings and state committees. In addition, she has proposed legislative amendments for motor vehicle laws and originated Connecticut’s Online Medical Certification System. She leads and participates in several modernization projects and liaises with other state agencies and Motor Vehicle agencies across the country. Her visionary perspective has earned her the opportunity to be a member of the Education and STEAM Subcommittee for the Governor’s Women and Girls Council where she works alongside the Council chairs and the Lt. Governor’s Office to propel the council’s goals and functions.

Aside from her professional role with the State, Janice Floyd is a certified Child Passenger Technician. She volunteers her time across the state to assist in the education and training of child passenger laws and passenger, car seat and child safety.
