Program Coordinator, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp
Dennis is currently the Program Coordinator for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a nonprofit organization founded by Paul Newman. He has been in this position for the past four years. He completed the Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management at the University of Connecticut in 2019, and also hopes to gain his Master of Public Administration from UConn. Dennis is also currently running a small real estate business and working part time as a mentor at Shoreline Psychotherapy Behavioral Health.
Dennis attended Western New England University, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelors in Economics. He played four years of college basketball, and enjoyed the atmosphere of the campus, the size of the classes and the sports culture. Dennis enjoyed the competitive nature of the basketball program and the academics that WNE offered.
His top memory has to be when he studied abroad with the Sports Management Department during the London 2012 Olympic games. Being able to see the greatest athletes in the world compete while exploring England’s iconic landmarks was indeed an unforgettable experience.
After college, Dennis started working at the Grove School, a therapeutic boarding school to help children with social and emotional needs. He started as a Dorm Staff and Teacher and quickly worked his way up to being a Residential Administrator, Dorm Administrator, and on call behavioral lead. He worked at the Grove School for 3 years.
