Dr. Eric Brunner
Curriculum Vitae

Eric Brunner is an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Public Policy at the University of Connecticut. Much of his work focuses on issues related to the provision and financing of K-12 education, the economics of school choice, and the political economy school funding and school choice.

Dr. Brunner’s work has been published in journals such as the Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Urban Economics, and the National Tax Journal. He has also authored numerous reports, monographs and book chapters on topics such as school choice, school finance reform and financing K-12 education for organizations such as the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, the Public Policy Institute of California and the National Center for Education Statistics. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Connecticut, he was an Associate Professor of Economics at Georgia State University.
