Overview:

Working together as a team in today’s fast paced, competitive environment requires a conscious effort from all members of the organization. The strongest teams utilize open communication, have clearly identified goals, and include members who understand their roles. In this workshop, participants will explore the five behaviors that form the foundation of a cohesive team, learn how to foster a culture of trust and transparency, and identify ways to increase employee engagement and productivity.

Learning Outcomes:

During this hands-on workshop, you will learn strategies and tactics for fostering cohesive teams. Specifically, you will:

  • Identify the five behaviors of a team
  • Achieve increased self-awareness of work styles
  • Develop skills for communicating and collaborating more effectively

What You’ll Learn:

You will gain an understanding of strategies and tactics for fostering cohesive teams by exploring individual work styles, identifying ways to foster a culture of trust and transparency, and developing ideas for increasing employee engagement and productivity.


 

Morning

What Makes a Cohesive Team?

We will engage in discussion that allows participants to reflect on their best and worst team scenarios and identify what makes a cohesive team.

We will explore:

  • The five behaviors of a cohesive team
  • Individual work styles
  • How to collaborate with colleagues most effectively

    Afternoon

    Creating Cohesion in an Already Existing Team

    We will continue to explore the five behaviors of a team as it applies to participants work environment and team dynamics.

    We will explore:

    • How to establish two-way communication with colleagues
    • How to foster a culture of trust and transparency
    • Ways to increase employee engagement and productivity.
