Stephanie Heller is from Orlando, Florida where she currently works as a research analyst at Universal Orlando Resort. While working towards her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at the University of Central Florida, she started working as an intern at Universal Orlando with the Consumer Insights department where she was introduced to survey research. She loved how a survey can gain insight into what people are thinking and feeling, especially about their experience in theme parks.
She continued to invest her time in the survey research field and was always looking for ways to expand her knowledge in the area. During this time, a coworker who recently completed the GPSR at UConn, recommended the program to Stephanie. She became interested in attending especially after hearing that it is entirely online. With the flexible course options, she was excited that would still be able to work full-time while continuing her education. Since beginning the Graduate Program of Survey Research in the Fall of 2015, she has already learned skills that have been applied at work, and is excited to continue learning about analyzing data.
After graduating with a Master in Survey Research from UConn, Stephanie hopes to continue working with Universal Orlando and use what she learned from the program to help the organization grow. When she’s not out riding roller coasters in the park, Stephanie loves to attend sporting events, volunteer at local organizations, and go on outdoor adventures.
