Ronny Heredia

Undergraduate at the University of Connecticut, Majoring in History

Ronny Heredia is an undergraduate History Major at the University of Connecticut. He is currently enrolled in the Fast-Track program which allows him to simultaneously work on his Bachelors and Master’s Degree. He has interned at the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office, Mansfield Town Hall, and the Newington Board of Education. Ronny’s hobbies include baseball, basketball, and billiards.

What originally attracted him to the MPA Program was the programs high national ranking and renowned faculty, which he felt would provide him with the skills needed to make an impact in the workforce. Courses that he feels will truly prepare him for his future career include Quantitative Methods and Policy Analysis.

After graduation Ronny will be pursuing a career in educational policy, in hopes of one day influencing broad-based educational reform. As for students potentially interested in the MPA Program, Ronny recommends that they get as much internship experience as they can in order to get firsthand experience in their fields of interest.
