
Deneen Hatmaker
Assistant Professor
Deneen Hatmaker is currently completing her Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, University at Albany, State University of New York. Her current research examines women engineers’ professional identity construction. She is also involved in projects examining socialization processes of newly hired auditors at the New York State Office of the Comptroller and a qualitative analysis of Federal Reserve monetary policy signaling. Deneen co-authored a paper recently published in the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory on network management in a state-level policy network. She has presented at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management Fall Research Conference, and the Public Management Research Association Conference. Before beginning her Ph.D., Deneen spent over twelve years in the high-tech and environmental industries in technical and managerial positions.
